Presenters: Tiffany Lucey and Marc Natanagara

Fee: $149

For most, PBL means Project Based Learning. But many projects don't invoke higher levels of thinking nor help students meet curricular goals any better than without them. By designing multimedia, multisensory, and multidisciplinary activities to address authentic issues, Problem Based Learning through a maker mindset can become the best holistic approach to increase engagement and master standards. It can even address systemic challenges like equity, classroom/school climate, and social emotional concerns by connecting students to skills and content that have both personal meaning and global impact. In this highly interactive workshop, participants will understand and be able to assess their current practices in a PBL light.
