TEACHNJ has rewritten the rules on tenure &evaluation,and there is an emerging body of case law on what constitutes a legally defensible corrective action plan(CAP),as well as the other aspects of progressive supervision(PS) that are now expected.This workshop will provide participants w/ concrete strategies & templates to use in addressing staff members proactively through PS,in order to reduce the need to impose CAPs.Participants will learn how to have discussions w/ staff members about areas in need of improvement.Participants will also learn about the essential elements of CAPs & the steps to take to follow through on their implementation.
