This workshop will review key legal requirements under state & federal law for addressing students who are dealing with mental health issues.This will include a review of how mental health issues are addressed under the NJ Law Against Discrimination,NJ's Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights,IDEA,Section 504,and other anti-discrimination statutes.Participants will consider issues related to anxiety,depression, addiction and suicidal ideation.Participants will understand how to provide reasonable accommodations for students,how to respond to disciplinary issues and key steps to take to ensure the safety of students dealing with mental health issues...and more!
